Post subject:  Spotted at March 2015 Banjorama, Springfield OH
One Friday in March, I drove past an old motel that USED to be a Holiday Inn on Leffel lane just off of I-70 and Route 72. A banner tied over the sign said "Banjorama." That was ALL the notice I had. I later tried to find a web site or SOMETHING, but all I could find was web pages of individuals or groups who had participated in previous years. So I went in, walked around, got strange looks from people who seemed to realize that I had no idea what I had stumbled into.

95% of the music going on was jazz-influenced, 4-string banjo-based.

But I did go into the banjos-for-sale room and drool over several collectibles. Here's one:

Here's a short-necked backless 5-string that the owner said goes back to Minstrel days. Sorry the photos aren't better; again, this event took me 100% by surprise and all I had to take photos with wa my cell phone.
